Your blog is really interesting.  I guess I&#039;ve never thought of oils as a group of products, but rather as products in a variety of categories.  I think of fish oil as a supplement for joints and heart health, massage oil for just that purpose, olive oil as a heart-healthy fat for cooking.  But as I read your post, I thought of the lavender oil I spray on my pillow at night and the peppermints my mom used for nausea during chemo.  Very interesting!

Now one for you: The extra virgin olive oil being offered by Kardea Nutrition has added plant sterols to make it more heart-healthy.  Try as a dipping oil, in salad dressing or for sauteeing veggies.  One 14g serving delivers 500mg (.5g) plant sterols, or 25% of the NCEP recommended levels.</description>
